Groin Strain

This commonly occurs from exercise that involves twisting with the legs and hips, but can equally be pulled from a stepping motion. The strain will be felt in the inside upper thigh and possibly up to where the leg joins the pelvis.  Luckily a Groin Strain will usually just heal itself, but you can ice it every few hours for 15mins to help ease you. Plus you can use anti-inflammatory pain killers. If you are in pain whilst walking, then rest as much as possible but if walking isn’t a problem, then carry on but at a gentle, mindful pace.
